On February 25, 2010 afternoon, The mission delegation of the VAAC included leaders, staff leaded by deputy administrator of the VAAC Bui Duc Duong, and some reporters had a visit and offered gifts to children affected by HIV/AIDS and their families in Ha Nam.
At the working meeting between the delegation and Ha Nam center for HIV/AIDS prevention and control, master Cao Dinh Thanh – the director of the center, reported activities of HIV/AIDS prevention and control and there was a meaningful meeting with children and HIV/AIDS infected people at the center. Speaking at the working, Mr. Bui Duc Duong highly appreciated the activities of HIV/AIDS prevention and control of Ha Nam. On behalf of the VAAC, Duong sent to the leader and staff of Ha Nam center a wish of good health, happiness and success. He also offered gifts to families having HIV/AIDS infected children and gave lucky money to children affected by HIV/AIDS.

a Decision establishing the Centre of Research and Community Help in
HIV/AIDS Control. The Centre sits under the VAAC is established in order
to improve the capacity and efficiency of the activities of the VAAC.
On June, 02, 2010, in Ha Noi, the Centre had an opening ceremony
attended by representatives from VAAC and several domestic and
international agencies and organizations working on HIV/AID.
