Dear the Steering Board for prevention and control of AIDS, drug and prostitution ministries, branches, agencies and provinces and cities directly under the central Government.

Implementing the plan of HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2009 on the organization of the national action month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2009 and in response to the 2009 global campaign for HIV/AIDS prevention and control on the occasion of World AIDS Day 2009 (December 1) with the general theme entitled: “Maintain commitment. Determine to prevent AIDS” and specific one entitled: “Universal access and human rights”, The National Committee for prevention and control of AIDS, drug, and prostitution launched a national month for HIV/AIDS 2009 through the whole country from November 10 to December 10, 2009 (instructions enclosed). We propose the Steering Boards for AIDS, drug and prostitution of of ministries, branches, unions and provinces, cities directly under the central Government to set up specific plans to conduct the implementation and evaluation of activities of the national action month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2009 in accordance with the situation, characteristics of each local.

At the end of the action month, the Steering Boards for AIDS, drug and prostitution of of ministries, branches, unions and provinces, cities directly under the central Government will evaluate, summarize and report to the Ministry of Health ( The Administration of HIV/AIDS control, No. 135/3 Nui Truc road, Ba Dinh District, Ha noi before December 20, 2009 sothat the Ministry of Health will report to the Government, and the chairman of the National Committee for AIDS, drug, and prostitution.
